AKOS - is the Ghanaian Akan name for our Sunday born Queens.
Every Pattern & Colour represents a unique meaning.
The 'James Town' print was used to create the ‘AKOS' kente print swimsuit.
The colours used to create this pattern include:
- Green, which often represents life, growth and good health.
- Black, associated with mystery, strength & spiritual energy.
- Gold, which represents wealth and royalty.
-Red which has association to sacrifice.
All these colours and patterns come together to bring ‘unity in diversity’.

The AKOS high-waist two-piece (top only) comes with thick removable, adjustable straps, a tie-up back with metal bead details and a tie-up belt around the waist for additional support.
85% Polyester, 15% Spandex
We highly recommend you hand wash & rinse with cold water then lay flat in shade to dry as it helps keep the fabric and the shape of the suit looking newer, longer.

Our policy does not permit any returns. All sales are final due to hygiene reasons. Please check your order before payment as our sizing is completely accurate. Unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Taxes and Duties
Orders from some countries may be subject to local customs and duties fees upon arrival. All applicable customs fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded by Ashanti Swimwear. In addition, some orders may experience customs delays.
Refunds (if applicable)
We do not offer any refunds. However, if you decide to cancel your order before despatch send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We do not accept exchanges at all due to hygiene reasons. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged on arrival which should not happen as all items are quality checked before shipping. To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com and we will assist you further.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Please be aware that we are not responsible for any import duties and taxes the customs department in your local country may or may not charge you after receiving your Ashanti Swimwear order. Usually you may import 3 or 4 times with no charges and on the 5th time customs will hold it for duties and taxes, it just depends on customs and the person who processes the package. We always try our best to protect you from any additional customs charges, but this method is not always successful.
